VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), a key subsidiary of Eicher Motors Limited, has announced a partnership with iTriangle Infotech Private Limited (iTriangle) to deliver automotive-connected solutions.
Under this partnership, VECV will own 51% of the joint venture company (JV Co), while iTriangle will hold the remaining 49%. According to the company’s exchange filings, “Upon finalization of the Joint Venture Agreement, AMSPL (Aquila Mobility Solutions Private Limited) will become a JV Co with VECV and iTriangle.”
Through this collaboration, VECV will procure telematics fleet management systems, including telematics devices, from AMSPL for Eicher and Volvo-branded trucks and buses in both the Indian and export markets.
The collaboration is expected to be finalized within 2-3 months of signing the JV Agreement, with VECV investing INR 25,50,000 for its 51% stake.
Incorporated in 2023, AMSPL will focus on providing location intelligence solutions, third-party computer software packages, and services in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT), telematics, and geospatial solutions on web and mobile application platforms.
