Mini India, a subsidiary of BMW Group, has unveiled the Mini Charged Edition, an exclusive version of the Mini 3-door Cooper SE electric car in India, with a price tag of Rs 55,00,000 (Ex-showroom).
Presented as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit, only a limited quantity of 20 units are available, exclusively accessible through Mini’s online shop.
Vikram Pawah, President of BMW Group India, expressed, “Mini introduces the Mini 3-door Cooper SE in Chili Red with the Mini Charged Edition. This electric car celebrates the iconic Go-Kart sensation and instant torque, all while producing zero emissions. The Mini Charged Edition is a dynamic, energetic, and expressive vehicle that perfectly aligns with the spirited essence of the Mini brand, uniting people and communities. It’s the ideal companion for urban mobility, embodying the essence of the classic Mini but adapted for the future roads.”
This exclusive variant also includes the setup of the Mini Smart Wallbox charger and a portable DC charging cable. Buyers can also explore tailored financial options through Mini 360º, along with corporate and trade-in advantages. The Mini Electric experience offers convenience as the high-voltage battery is covered by an 8-year warranty or up to 100,000 kilometers. The vehicle comes with a standard two-year warranty for unlimited kilometers, extendable through Repair Inclusive to the fifth year without mileage restrictions. A 5-year 24×7 Road-Side Assistance package ensures peace of mind during travel, featuring portable roadside charging.
BMW Group has established strong charging infrastructure across 35 cities in India, offering fast chargers at its dealer network, with 36 BMW Group touchpoints for servicing the Mini Electric across the nation. The Mini Charged Edition is the initial limited edition of the successful Mini 3-Door Cooper SE presented in India. It showcases a Chili Red exterior color with a Multitone Roof in White, Aspen White Exterior Trim, Frozen Red Sports Stripes with Energetic Yellow highlights, and chrome air inlets.
The design blends modern aerodynamic lines with signature elements, and the all-electric Mini is aimed at improving urban mobility while providing a captivating driving experience. The Mini Charged Edition features distinctive headlights accompanied by side scuttles housing LED indicators and the Energetic Yellow ‘S’ logo. Mirror Caps in Aspen White alongside Chili Red exterior color enhance its unique appearance. Exclusive 17-inch Electric Power Spoke alloy wheels outlined in Energetic Yellow contribute to the vehicle’s bold design.
Inside, the Mini Electric Interior is highlighted by sports seats with Leatherette Carbon Black upholstery. The 5-inch digital Multifunction Instrument Display and the 8.8-inch high-resolution touchscreen provide key driving information. Various lighting strips create ambient lighting for an enhanced driving atmosphere. The all-electric Mini achieves 0-100 km in 7.3 seconds with no gearshift interruptions. It’s equipped with a 32.6 kWh battery capacity, offering a range of up to 270 km.

- 11 kW AC Charger – 80% in 2 hours 30 minutes.
- 2.3 kW AC Charger– 80% in 9 hours 43 minutes.
The Mini Charged Edition comes with an extensive feature-rich package, including the Mini Wired Package with Navigation System, Wireless Charging, enhanced Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and a Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi Speaker System. Mini Driving Modes enable personalized vehicle settings for comfort, sportiness, or efficiency.
