Electric mobility company BLive has launched BLive NXT, a new entrepreneurship programme designed to enable individuals to own, operate and scale electric vehicle rental and fleet businesses across India.
Under the initiative, BLive plans to support 100 entrepreneurs over the next three years, with the deployment of more than 10,000 electric vehicles. The programme aims to establish a nationwide network of locally owned and operated EV rental businesses as electric mobility adoption continues to expand in the country.
BLive NXT will provide entrepreneurs with end-to-end support covering EV procurement, AI-powered fleet management technology, charging infrastructure, training and ongoing business assistance. Under the “Powered by BLive” model, entrepreneurs will manage their respective local markets while using BLive’s technology and operational ecosystem.
The programme is open to aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals looking to establish new businesses, existing fleet operators and individuals without previous automotive industry experience. BLive said the initiative is intended to lower entry barriers and broaden participation in India’s growing electric mobility sector.
Participants will have access to a selection of EV brands and models, onboarding and operational frameworks, as well as a technology platform providing real-time fleet tracking, rider management, payments, analytics and servicing capabilities. BLive will also provide assistance with marketing, customer acquisition and charging infrastructure deployment.
The company expects demand for electric fleets to continue growing as sectors including e-commerce, logistics and last-mile delivery increasingly adopt electric mobility. According to BLive, EV sales in India surpassed 2.3 million units in 2025, representing an eight-fold increase compared with 2018.
Sandeep Mukherjee, CEO and Co-Founder of BLive, said the NXT programme is intended to provide entrepreneurs with the technology, expertise and operational support required to establish scalable businesses in the electric mobility sector.
Through BLive NXT, the company aims to combine local entrepreneurship with its EV ecosystem to accelerate electric vehicle adoption and expand fleet availability across cities and communities in India.
