Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturing company, Okinawa showcased its portfolio of electric two wheelers at Auto Expo 2020. On the grand stage of Auto Expo 2020. Anil Shrivastava Mission Director, Mission on Transformative Mobility & Battery Storage, Niti Aayog, unveiled Okinawa’s prototype maxi-scooter- Cruiser.
According to a press release, Okinawa’s prototype maxi-scooter-Cruiser, is the first of its kind in the electric scooter range in India. It features a 4 KWH Lithium-ion, detachable battery which ensures charging convenience to the users.
The scooter comes with a high-speed charger that offers a charging time of 2-3 hours. The scooter shall clock a top speed of 100 kmph and is capable of running for over 120 kms on a single charge, the release said.
