ACMobility held a 45% share of fixed electric vehicle (EV) charging locations in the Philippines as of the end of June 2026, according to data from the Department of Energy. The company operated 222 charging hubs out of the country’s total 492, establishing its position as a major provider of EV charging infrastructure in the domestic market.

The company also managed 542 individual charge points, representing approximately 43.5% of the Philippines’ total 1,246 charge points. Its network expansion reflects efforts to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles and improve access to charging facilities across the country.

ACMobility has installed charging infrastructure in various public and commercial locations, including shopping malls, fuel stations, office buildings, residential properties, restaurants and automotive dealerships. These locations are intended to make charging more convenient for EV users during their daily activities and long-distance journeys.

The company’s network includes both alternating current (AC) chargers and direct current (DC) fast chargers. This infrastructure supports different vehicle brands and serves private motorists as well as public transport fleets.

To improve the charging experience, ACMobility offers the Evro mobile application. Users can locate nearby operational charging stations, monitor charging sessions and make digital payments through GCash or credit cards. The application is designed to simplify access to charging services and support the wider adoption of electric mobility.

Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility, said the company aims to support the Philippines’ transition to electric mobility by making charging stations accessible in places where people live, work and travel. Through the continued development of the Philippine EV Spine, ACMobility plans to connect different regions and enable more convenient nationwide EV travel.

Earlier in 2026, ACMobility partnered with BYD and the Department of Tourism for the “Drive Electric, Love Pinas” initiative. The campaign involved a 3,500-kilometre journey from Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte to General Santos City. The 22-day expedition covered 102 cities and towns and secured two Guinness World Records.

The records recognised the most cities visited during a continuous journey by a battery electric vehicle and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.

ACMobility plans to continue expanding its charging network to accommodate the increasing number of EV users and support the Philippines’ transition towards more sustainable transportation.
