BikeWo Green Tech Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Drive Auto Services Private Limited, operating as Green Drive Mobility, to expand electric logistics operations across India. The partnership aims to develop a large-scale electric freight transportation platform, with plans to scale the combined fleet to at least 5,000 electric trucks over the coming years.

The collaboration will focus on electric vehicle deployment across last-mile, mid-mile and long-haul logistics. Both companies intend to combine their operational capabilities, fleet management expertise, institutional partnerships and investment resources to accelerate the adoption of electric trucks in India’s transportation sector.

Green Drive Mobility has an established presence in India’s electric logistics market, operating more than 350 electric trucks and approximately 8,000 electric two-wheelers. Its truck logistics customers include More Retail, DHL and Gati, among others. The company also supports last-mile delivery operations through ONDC-enabled logistics services, working with leading quick-commerce businesses through its electric two-wheeler fleet.

Under the proposed partnership, Green Drive Mobility will contribute its existing operating infrastructure, enterprise customer relationships and fleet management capabilities. BikeWo Green Tech will focus on fleet ownership, financing, institutional partnerships and the development of large-scale electric vehicle logistics operations.

As part of the long-term collaboration, BikeWo has expressed its intention to progressively invest up to ₹150 crore in Green Drive Mobility over the coming years. The proposed investment will remain subject to mutually agreed commercial terms, business requirements, necessary approvals and definitive agreements. The funding is expected to support fleet expansion, technology integration, operational infrastructure and the development of new opportunities in institutional logistics.

The companies plan to expand electric truck applications across industrial freight, retail distribution, regional transportation and long-haul logistics. They also intend to strengthen enterprise partnerships, increase geographical coverage and establish technology-enabled fleet operations to improve the efficiency and scalability of electric freight transportation.

Commenting on the partnership, Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech Limited, said the shift towards electric freight transportation presents a significant opportunity in India. He highlighted Green Drive Mobility’s operational experience and established enterprise relationships as important strengths for building a larger green logistics platform.
