Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturing company, ​Okinawa showcased its portfolio of electric two wheelers at Auto Expo 2020. On the grand stage of Auto Expo 2020. Anil Shrivastava Mission Director, Mission on Transformative Mobility & Battery Storage, Niti Aayog, unveiled Okinawa’s prototype maxi-scooter- Cruiser.
According to a press release, Okinawa’s prototype maxi-scooter-Cruiser, is the first of its kind in the electric scooter range in India. It features a 4 KWH Lithium-ion, detachable battery which ensures charging convenience to the users.
The scooter comes with a high-speed charger that offers a charging time of 2-3 hours. The scooter shall clock a top speed of 100 kmph and is capable of running for over 120 kms on a single charge, the release said.
