Toyota Kirloskar Launches All-Electric Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 at ₹23.6 Lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced the launch of its new all-electric SUV, the Urban Cruiser Ebella E3, priced at ₹23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch marks a significant step in Toyota’s multi-pathway strategy aimed at achieving a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.

Powered by a 61 kWh battery pack, the Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 delivers 128 kW power and 189 Nm torque, promising a smooth and confident driving experience tailored for urban as well as long-distance mobility.

The electric SUV features Toyota’s new ‘URBAN TECH’ design philosophy, combining bold SUV styling with aerodynamic efficiency and premium aesthetics. The exterior highlights include Toyota’s signature hammerhead front design, LED lighting setup, dual-tone colour options, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin offers a premium and spacious experience with dual-tone interiors, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour options, reclining and sliding rear seats, a panoramic roof, and a JBL premium audio system.

On the technology front, the Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 comes equipped with a 10.25-inch digital combimeter and a 10.1-inch infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Safety remains a major focus, with the vehicle featuring Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), seven airbags, a high-tensile body structure, and a 360-degree camera system.

TKM also announced a range of ownership benefits, including an 8-year battery warranty, assured buyback schemes, Battery-as-a-Service options, and attractive financing solutions.

To support electric vehicle customers, Toyota has expanded its EV service network with over 500 BEV-enabled service touchpoints across India, supported by more than 2,500 BEV master technicians trained in electrification technologies.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 supports both AC and DC fast charging and includes intelligent charging features such as remote charging operation, scheduling, and battery monitoring through Toyota’s i-Connect platform.

The SUV will be available in five monotone and four dual-tone colour options.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor, a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan and Kirloskar Systems Limited, currently operates two manufacturing plants in Bidadi, Karnataka, with a combined installed production capacity of up to 3,42,000 units annually.

TKM manufactures popular models such as the Innova HyCross, Fortuner, Camry Hybrid, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Hilux, while also marketing models including the Glanza, Rumion, and Urban Cruiser Taisor in India.
