Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) today launched the highly anticipated Hyundai CRETA Electric, marking a significant milestone in India’s electric vehicle (EV) landscape. Priced from ₹17,99,000 (ex-showroom), the CRETA Electric combines cutting-edge technology, bold design, and sustainable mobility solutions tailored for Indian consumers.

The Hyundai CRETA Electric features a distinctive design inspired by Hyundai’s global Pixel EV design language, highlighted by:

  • Pixelated Grille and Active Air Flaps for aerodynamics and cooling efficiency.
  • Dual-tone interiors with eco-friendly materials, including seat upholstery crafted from recycled plastics and corn extract.
  • A 26.03 cm dual-curvilinear HD display offering infotainment and EV-specific information.
  • A spacious cabin with a 2610 mm wheelbase, providing unparalleled comfort and functionality.

With an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds (long-range variant), the CRETA Electric supports fast DC charging, achieving 10%-80% charge in as little as 39 minutes.

  • ADAS Level 2 SmartSense: Includes 19 advanced safety features such as Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Collision Warning.
