Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of VinFast, has launched its Green SM Platform in Indonesia and Philippines, marking a major step in its Southeast Asia expansion strategy.

The multi-service technology platform, introduced on April 13, 2026, enables owners and renters of VinFast electric vehicles to register as service partners, offering new income opportunities while accelerating the adoption of electric mobility in urban centers.

Developed within GSM’s fully electric ecosystem, the platform aims to expand the supply of drivers and vehicles while maintaining standardized service quality. Registered drivers will undergo structured training programs focused on operational procedures and customer service, ensuring a consistent and professional user experience.

A key highlight of the initiative is its competitive revenue-sharing model, offering partners up to 90% of earnings along with performance-based incentives. The platform is designed to lower entry barriers by allowing participants to join without significant upfront investment or complex financing requirements.

In Indonesia, drivers can access a range of VinFast EV models, including VF 5, VF e34, VF 6, and Limo Green, enabling quick onboarding and operations. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, the rollout includes VF 5 and Limo Green models, supported by comprehensive policies covering registration, insurance, and operations.

To further enhance affordability, drivers using VinFast electric vehicles will benefit from free charging policies until March 31, 2029, significantly reducing operational costs and improving income potential.

Nguyen Van Thanh, Global CEO of GSM, said the platform represents a strategic move to promote sustainable transportation in the region. “Green SM Platform is not only a step forward in service expansion, but also a solution to accelerate the transition to green mobility across Southeast Asia,” he stated.

The launch comes amid rising demand for flexible employment in major cities, offering workers an accessible pathway to stable income through electric mobility services. By integrating technology, environmental sustainability, and economic opportunity, GSM aims to build a comprehensive green transportation ecosystem.

The expansion into Indonesia and the Philippines strengthens GSM’s regional footprint while supporting the broader adoption of electric vehicles, positioning the company as a key player in Southeast Asia’s evolving mobility landscape.
