BMW Motorrad India’s CE 04 Electric Scooter Set For July 24 Debut

BMW Motorrad India has announced the debut of its CE 04 electric scooter on July 24, marking the company’s first venture into the Indian electric scooter market.

The CE 04 boasts a futuristic design reminiscent of a sci-fi film, featuring a large apron, flat body panels, and a distinctive bench-like seat that is sure to attract attention.

Equipped with a permanent magnet, liquid-cooled synchronous electric motor, the CE 04 delivers 41bhp and 61Nm of torque. Its 8.9kWh battery allows for a range of 130km on a single charge. BMW claims the scooter can accelerate from 0-50kmph in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 120kmph.

The scooter includes a 10.25-inch TFT display with connectivity and navigation features. Safety features comprise three ride modes—Eco, Rain, and Road—with optional Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and ABS Pro.

The BMW CE 04 is anticipated to be priced between Rs 10 lakh and 11 lakh, ex-showroom.
