In a compelling stride into 2024, Visacomm, a trailblazing company in Electric Vehicles (EV) and specialized controls, reflects on a triumphant 2023 marked by substantial client and organizational expansion. Positioned as a frontrunner in the Southeast and nationwide, Visacomm is actively contributing to the technological sector’s lasting environmental impact.

Established in 1997 by visionary Fornando Hill, Visacomm initially excelled in audio-visual and networking installations before venturing into Electric Vehicles in 2011, catalyzed by their work with Tesla. Under Hill’s leadership, the company strategically established a hub in the Southeast, filling a void in the region’s business landscape. This strategic move propelled Visacomm to allocate over half of its operations to the EV sector by 2017.

A pivotal rebranding effort in 2022 cemented Visacomm as the foremost EV company in the United States, extending its services to clients in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and California. Key projects included contributions to Georgia’s State Farm Arena’s clean air initiative, surveillance electrical services at QuikTrip Gas stations, and collaborations with power companies across Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. The company’s expertise further manifested in video wall installations at the Harry Reid International and Logan Airports, U.S. Department of Defense projects in Virginia, and partnerships with tech giants Google and Honeywell.

In 2023, Visacomm strengthened its team with the addition of key members: Estimator Oriel Selver, Business Development Coordinator Dakari Augustus, Project Manager Daryl Hill, Sales Coordinator Christopher Johnson, and Office Administrator Mary Hill.

Founder Fornando Hill remarks, “Our journey in 2023 has been a testament to our company’s 25-plus-year commitment to excellence and innovation. We’re proud of the strides we’ve made and look forward to the future with great enthusiasm.”

Looking ahead, Visacomm is poised for sustained growth in 2024 with the launch of a non-profit organization. This initiative aims to support aspiring technicians entering the field while enhancing consumer education and expanding client outreach, further solidifying Visacomm’s role as a driving force in the Southeastern Electric Vehicle landscape.
