Ather Energy has introduced an Over-The-Air (OTA) update for the 450X, enhancing the navigation system on the electric scooter. The update includes improvements to the Google Maps-based navigation system, featuring enhanced live traffic indicators and two-wheeler-specific routes on the scooter’s dashboard.
Ather aims to provide a more refined navigational experience for both new and existing users. The company has redesigned the live traffic indicators, offering real-time and more precise information on traffic conditions.
Additionally, the 450X can now present two-wheeler-specific routes directly from Google Maps, a pioneering feature globally. The update also enhances GPS latching for improved and consistent navigation.
Ather plan is to roll out the free OTA update gradually to 450X users by the end of the month. Simultaneously, the company is set to launch the 450 Apex, a new limited edition model, on January 6, 2024, with a comprehensive review scheduled for the same day. Stay tuned for updates.
