GreenPower Motor Company Inc., a prominent manufacturer and distributor of purpose-built, all-electric, zero-emission vehicles, is set to unveil its cutting-edge fleet solutions at the upcoming Piedmont Earth Day Fair in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The exclusive media preview event and ride-and-drive, scheduled for April 18 at Matthews Specialty Vehicles in Greensboro, will offer a sneak peek at GreenPower’s innovative EV Star Cab & Chassis and EV Star Passenger Van. These purpose-built, zero-emission vehicles are poised to revolutionize the cargo and delivery market, shuttle and transit space, and school bus sector.

Claus Tritt, Vice President of Medium-Duty and Commercial Vehicle Sales at GreenPower, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Piedmont Truck Center, Matthews Specialty Vehicles, and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center. “GreenPower is proud to offer all-electric, purpose-built fleet solutions and work alongside our esteemed partners to bring our EV Star products to North Carolina,” Tritt remarked. “Through unique upfit solutions provided by Piedmont Truck Center and Matthews Specialty Vehicles, customers can secure GreenPower’s all-electric vehicles to fit a range of applications.”

The Piedmont Earth Day Fair, scheduled for April 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will serve as the platform for showcasing GreenPower’s EV Star Cab & Chassis and EV Star Passenger Van. Attendees can explore these state-of-the-art vehicles at the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center booth (#108) and Matthews Specialty Vehicles’ booth (#107), where GreenPower executives will be available to discuss the vehicles, use cases, and incentives available for fleet operators interested in transitioning to zero-emission vehicles.

Joey Clewis, Chief Operating Officer of Piedmont Truck Center, highlighted the quality and reliability of GreenPower’s vehicles. “GreenPower sets the standard in terms of reliable, quality zero-emission vehicles,” Clewis stated. “By offering our customers vehicles from GreenPower, we’re delivering on our mission to help hard-working people own and operate best-in-class commercial trucks.”
