Hyundai Motor Group’s Executive Chair, Euisun Chung, visited India to assess the Group’s future mobility strategies, aiming to bolster its leadership in the Indian market and foster sustainable growth. The visit also included the inaugural overseas town hall meeting with Hyundai Motor India employees.

In light of India’s increasing strategic significance, Executive Chair Chung’s visit aims to fortify the Group’s standing as a premier mobility provider in India. It also seeks to explore diverse business prospects in the dynamic Indian market. The Group remains dedicated to upholding its social responsibilities through culturally sensitive CSR and ESG initiatives, while striving to appeal to Indian customers.

Executive Chair Chung conducted a comprehensive review and detailed discussions on Hyundai Motor Group’s mid-to long-term strategies in India at the newly established Hyundai Motor India Headquarters in Gurugram, Delhi. Additionally, a town hall meeting was convened on April 23, providing an opportunity for face-to-face interaction with Hyundai Motor India employees. The meeting aimed to communicate the Group’s vision and engage with colleagues in anticipation of upcoming initiatives, including the establishment of an annual production system of one million units and the advancement of the Group’s electrification strategy.
