Maruti Suzuki India Limited has achieved a new milestone in its after-sales operations by servicing more than 2.84 crore vehicles during the financial year 2025-26, marking the highest annual service load in the company’s history.
The automaker attributed the achievement to its expanding nationwide service network, which currently includes 5,926 service touchpoints across India. The company said the strong network, supported by trained manpower, advanced service processes, and technology-driven operations, played a key role in handling the record service volume.
Commenting on the milestone, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the achievement reflects the trust customers place in the company’s after-sales service capabilities.
“Achieving our highest-ever annual service load is a significant milestone and reflects the trust customers place in Maruti Suzuki’s after-sales capabilities. I would also like to thank our channel partners for their continued commitment and tireless efforts, which have been instrumental in achieving this milestone,” Takeuchi said.
He further emphasized the importance of quality after-sales service in maintaining vehicle health, performance, and long-term customer satisfaction. According to the company, after-sales support remains a critical factor in strengthening customer loyalty and ownership experience.
Maruti Suzuki also revealed its long-term plans to further strengthen its service infrastructure in line with evolving automotive technologies and changing customer expectations. The company aims to expand its service network to nearly 8,000 touchpoints across India by FY 2030-31.
Takeuchi noted that Maruti Suzuki has consistently focused on ensuring that its service network grows ahead of vehicle sales to support rising customer demand efficiently.
The company stated that the annual service figures include all categories of vehicle servicing, such as periodic maintenance and general repairs, based on internal company data.
Maruti Suzuki remains India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer and continues to invest heavily in customer service, digital solutions, and dealership expansion as competition intensifies in the Indian automotive market.
The record service milestone highlights the growing importance of after-sales operations in the automotive sector, especially as customers increasingly prioritize reliability, convenience, and long-term ownership support while purchasing vehicles.
