The company’s domestic sales stood out as the primary growth driver, rising 21% to 30,159 units from 24,833 units in April 2025. However, exports declined by 23%, with 1,927 units shipped overseas compared to 2,496 units a year earlier.

A key highlight for the month was the Toyota Innova HyCross achieving the milestone of 200,000 cumulative sales, underscoring the growing consumer preference for hybrid vehicles in India.
Commenting on the performance, Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President for Sales-Service-Used Car Business at TKM, attributed the growth to strong customer focus, product excellence, and consistent market execution. He emphasized that the company’s hybrid technology offerings and expanding portfolio continue to resonate well with customers despite evolving industry dynamics.
Headquartered in Bidadi, Karnataka, Toyota Kirloskar Motor operates two manufacturing plants with a combined annual production capacity of up to 342,000 units. Its lineup includes popular models such as the Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Camry Hybrid, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, alongside other offerings in the Indian market.
With sustained demand and a growing acceptance of hybrid mobility solutions, Toyota Kirloskar Motor remains optimistic about maintaining its growth trajectory in the coming months.
