TVS Motor Company has launched the all-new 2026 range of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, introducing significant upgrades aimed at improving safety, visibility, and rider control. The updated lineup now comes equipped with a projector headlamp, all-LED lighting, and Assist & Slipper Clutch technology across more variants.
The company has added two new variants alongside the existing top-end model, expanding feature accessibility across the range. Notably, the Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs and a complete LED lighting system—including turn indicators—are now standard features, enhancing night-time visibility and overall safety.
The inclusion of the Assist & Slipper Clutch in additional variants is expected to improve riding comfort by enabling smoother downshifts and reducing wheel hop during aggressive deceleration. These features were previously limited to the top variant, which also offers a TFT display and traction control.
According to Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company, the upgrade reflects the brand’s commitment to delivering performance-driven motorcycles with advanced technology. He stated that the latest enhancements are designed to meet evolving rider expectations while maintaining affordability.
The updated TVS Apache RTR 160 4V continues to be powered by its proven engine delivering 17.55 PS, retaining its position as one of the most powerful motorcycles in the 160cc segment. It also features three ride modes—Sport, Urban, and Rain—along with radial tyres and SmartXonnect technology for connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts.
The range is offered in three variants: Single Channel ABS, Dual Channel ABS with USD forks, and a top-end USD variant with TFT and traction control. Prices start at ₹1,25,440 (ex-showroom, Delhi), going up to ₹1,37,440 for the fully loaded variant.
The company said the new lineup is now available across dealerships nationwide. With these updates, TVS aims to further strengthen the Apache brand’s position in the premium 160cc motorcycle segment, backed by its “Track to Road” philosophy rooted in racing performance.
TVS Apache motorcycles have built a strong global presence over the past two decades, with over 6.5 million customers across more than 60 countries.
