VinFast has announced a landmark achievement in Vietnam’s electric mobility sector, delivering a record 406,453 e-scooters in 2025 and officially claiming the number-one market share nationwide in the e-scooter segment.
The milestone reflects a 473% year-on-year increase compared to 2024, underscoring the rapid acceleration of electric vehicle adoption in Vietnam and VinFast’s growing leadership in the market.
According to the company, its success is driven by one of the most diverse e-scooter portfolios in the country, with more than 10 mainstream models spanning multiple segments. Flexible ownership options—including both charging and battery-swapping solutions—have helped address long-standing consumer concerns and position e-scooters as a practical alternative to gasoline-powered vehicles.
The Evo lineup emerged as the top-performing range in 2025, with over 250,000 units delivered, thanks to its wide price range and one-battery and two-battery configurations. Other models such as Feliz, Klara, Vento, Vero X, and Theon, alongside license-exempt options including Motio, Zgoo, and Flazz, also contributed significantly to VinFast’s record-breaking performance.
Beyond product offerings, VinFast attributed its strong results to a strategic investment approach focused on platform development, system optimization, and dealer network expansion. More than 600 authorized distributors nationwide have expanded customer access, while the rapid rollout of service workshops and public charging stations has enhanced convenience and customer confidence throughout the ownership experience.
Sales growth was further supported by competitive pricing policies, comprehensive after-sales services, and gasoline-to-electric trade-in programs, encouraging consumers to transition to electric mobility.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr. Hoang Ha, CEO of VinFast E-Scooter Vietnam Market, said 2025 marked a turning point in the country’s green mobility journey. He expressed confidence that strong market momentum, coupled with VinFast’s established credibility and upcoming initiatives, would make 2026 an even more significant year for both the company and Vietnam’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
VinFast’s leadership in both e-scooters and electric cars during 2025 highlights the accelerating shift away from gasoline-powered vehicles in Vietnam and reinforces the company’s readiness for its next phase of growth.
To meet increasingly diverse customer needs, VinFast introduced four new e-scooter models at the start of 2026, including three battery-swapping models—Evo, Feliz II, and Viper—as well as Amio, a pedal-assisted model designed for students. Supporting this expansion, VinFast has installed 4,500 battery-swapping stations and plans to complete 45,000 battery cabinets by the first quarter of 2026.
The company has also launched the “For a Green Future” campaign, offering incentives such as zero down payment, a 6% retail discount, and full registration fee support from January 12 to April 12, 2026. Customers will benefit from free charging at V-Green public charging stations through May 31, 2027, along with complimentary battery-swapping for up to 12 months, depending on usage.
With record sales, expanding infrastructure, and aggressive incentives, VinFast is positioning itself at the forefront of Vietnam’s transition to sustainable transportation.
