Oben Electric has achieved a major milestone with its newly launched Oben Rorr Evo crossing 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch, marking one of the fastest demand surges in India’s electric motorcycle segment.
The strong response highlights the growing consumer shift toward electric mobility, especially in the performance motorcycle category. The company stated that the milestone reflects rising confidence among Indian riders in electric motorcycles that combine performance, practicality, and long-term reliability.
To support the increasing demand, Oben Electric currently operates over 150 showrooms and service centres across 100+ cities in more than 18 states. Each outlet is backed by dedicated service facilities under “Oben Care,” which reportedly maintains a customer satisfaction score (CSAT) of 91%. The company also plans to expand its retail footprint by adding 200 more exclusive showrooms by the end of FY27.
The Rorr Evo was introduced at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers, after which the price increased to ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom). The payment portal for bookings is now live, while deliveries are expected to begin in June 2026.
Commenting on the achievement, Madhumita Agrawal said the response demonstrates that India’s transition to electric mobility is extending significantly into the motorcycle segment. She added that the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and nationwide retail network position it strongly to meet demand at scale.
Oben Electric manufactures critical EV components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers, and proprietary software systems. Its integrated production facility currently has the capacity to manufacture up to one lakh motorcycles annually.
The Rorr Evo is powered by a proprietary IPMSM motor producing 9 kW peak power and 250 Nm wheel torque. The motorcycle features a 3.4 kWh LFP battery with an IDC-certified range of 180 km, acceleration from 0–40 km/h in 3 seconds, and a top speed of 110 km/h. It also supports fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes and comes with an 8-year battery warranty.
Additional features include a 5-inch TFT display, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, and emergency SOS support through the company’s ARGUS connected technology platform.
