In a major step toward decarbonising India’s last-mile logistics, MoEVing, a fast-growing electric mobility solutions provider, has joined hands with Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles’ top dealers—Pascos, Johar Motors, and Bhandari Automobiles—to lease a fleet of 700 electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs), including the Ace EV and Ace Pro EV.
The fleet will be deployed across more than ten cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, supporting last-mile deliveries in e-commerce, FMCG, and logistics sectors. This large-scale rollout is expected to cut carbon emissions by nearly 2,000 tonnes annually, contributing to India’s Net Zero 2070 target.
This partnership introduces a pioneering business model in last-mile transportation, where Tata Motors’ dealers will own and maintain the electric fleet while MoEVing will operate it. The structure aims to unlock greater operational efficiency and enable scalable adoption of clean, zero-emission mobility solutions across India.
The deployment will cater to over 20 enterprise clients, covering an estimated 25 million green kilometres every year, underscoring both the environmental and economic viability of EV-based logistics.
Vikash Mishra, Founder and CEO of MoEVing, said, Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of green, zero-emission mobility across India’s logistics. Our innovative lease-based model makes EV deployment more scalable and cost-effective, while simplifying ownership and maintenance. We’re proud to be enabling the country’s largest deployment of Tata Electric Commercial Vehicles.
Echoing the sentiment, Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, stated, This partnership marks a pivotal step in scaling sustainable last-mile logistics. The Ace EV and Ace Pro EV are engineered for superior performance and reliability, backed by a robust network of over 200 dedicated EV support centres nationwide.
With this addition, MoEVing strengthens its leadership in sustainable logistics, now operating a fleet of over 2,500 EVs, including 500+ electric 4W cargo vehicles, the largest such fleet in India. The company continues to expand through technology-driven fleet management and strategic collaborations with OEMs, dealerships, and financiers—setting new benchmarks for efficient, reliable, and zero-emission delivery solutions.
