Blue Energy Motors (BEM), India’s leading clean mobility platform, has appointed Anand Mimani as Chief Executive Officer of its EV & New Energy Business, a dedicated vertical within the company’s integrated clean freight ecosystem.
Mimani will spearhead the division’s strategy, operations, product rollout, and partner ecosystem, reporting directly to Anirudh Bhuwalka, Founder & Managing Director of BEM. The move comes as the company accelerates expansion in electric heavy-duty vehicles, energy-as-a-service models, and green corridor infrastructure.
“As we scale rapidly, it’s critical to bring in focused leadership for each of our high-growth verticals,” Bhuwalka said. “Anand’s appointment significantly strengthens our execution capacity in electric mobility and infrastructure, advancing our broader vision for a zero-emission freight future.”
With over 26 years of experience in mobility, energy, and clean tech, Mimani previously served as CEO of GreenLine Mobility Solutions, where he led the deployment of India’s largest fleet of LNG-powered trucks, reducing over 10,000 tons of CO₂ emissions.
Blue Energy Motors — the first Indian platform to integrate battery-electric, LNG, and energy-as-a-service solutions — aims to ramp up electric truck deployment, scale charging and battery swap hubs, and deepen partnerships with logistics and energy providers under Mimani’s leadership.
