Greaves Cotton Limited, a prominent diversified engineering firm in India, has posted robust financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, showcasing its strategic progress and resilience in a competitive environment.
For the full FY25, the company’s consolidated revenue reached ₹2,918 crore, driven by strong performances across all business segments. Standalone revenue rose 12% year-over-year to ₹1,988 crore, while EBITDA grew 11% to ₹260 crore. The Excel division contributed ₹268 crore, supported by efficient operations, innovative offerings, and steady demand.
In Q4 FY25, consolidated revenue was ₹823 crore. Standalone revenue increased by 19% to ₹573 crore, and Excel posted a 15% revenue growth, reaching ₹75 crore for the quarter.

He emphasized that by harnessing its mobility expertise and prioritizing customer needs, Greaves Cotton is successfully transitioning from a diesel engine pioneer to a versatile provider of fuel-agnostic solutions across multiple applications, all while maintaining strong financial performance.
Greaves Cotton Limited’s Engineering division delivered impressive performance in Q4 FY25, recording 28% growth driven by innovative product offerings, deeper market penetration, and a strong service network. Demand surged for CPCB IV+ gensets and non-automotive applications. Meanwhile, the Retail segment saw significant traction in electric vehicle (EV) components, supported by an extensive network of over 21,500 mechanics and 10,000 retailers. Greaves E-Mobility (GEML) continued its upward trajectory, posting ₹172 crore in Q4 and ₹659 crore for the full year, fueled by successful new launches such as the Ampere Nexus and Magnus Neo, along with cost optimization and expanded market reach.
