Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has significantly expanded its regional distribution centre (RDC) footprint across India, further cementing its commitment to customer centricity. Over the past decade, the company has doubled its RDC footprint to an impressive 52,000 square meters.
A key highlight of this expansion is the addition of 8,000 square meters to the Pune RDC, which now spans 33,000 square meters. This strategic development sets new benchmarks in operational efficiency and customer service. In addition to the Pune facility, the company operates parts distribution centers in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Bangalore, ensuring nationwide coverage for its customers.
The expanded facility will manage parts and accessories for all five of the group’s premium brands in India—Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini—primarily focusing on the domestic market, while also supporting international markets. This growth underlines SAVWIPL’s ongoing efforts to elevate its after-sales service and enhance the overall customer experience.
SAVWIPL’s expansion also includes increasing the number of service touchpoints across India to 540 in 2024, providing a robust network for both routine maintenance and urgent support.
