Warivo Motor India Pvt. Ltd., a prominent electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Battery Smart, India’s largest battery swapping network for electric two and three-wheelers. This partnership aims to integrate advanced battery swapping technology into Warivo’s fleet, specifically targeting the business-to-business (B2B) market.
Following the launch of the CRX, its first high-speed electric scooter, Warivo plans to reduce upfront costs for fleet operators by decoupling the battery from the vehicle purchase. This innovative strategy not only makes electric scooters more accessible for businesses but also facilitates their transition to sustainable transportation solutions. The integration of Battery Smart’s extensive network of swapping stations will alleviate range anxiety by allowing fleet operators to swiftly exchange depleted batteries for fully charged ones, ensuring uninterrupted service and enhancing efficiency in delivery and logistics operations.
By the end of 2025, Warivo aims to deploy over 20,000 electric scooters equipped with Battery Smart’s battery-swapping technology across India. This significant rollout highlights Warivo’s commitment to promoting clean mobility solutions and meeting the growing demand for sustainable transportation options.
