IntrCity Secures Rs 37 Crore In Series C Funding To Boost Inter-City Mobility Services

IntrCity, a leading inter-city mobility platform in India offering train and bus services, has secured Rs 37 crore in a Series C funding round led by Mirabilis Investment Trust.

Existing investors, including Nandan Nilekani’s family trust (NRJN), Omidyar Network India, and Ujamaa Ventures, also participated in the funding.

Following its achievement of EBITDA profitability, IntrCity plans to strategically deploy the newly acquired funds to enhance product offerings, accelerate user acquisition, and expand services on its hub routes to cater to its growing traveller base.

Manish Rathi, CEO & Co-Founder of IntrCity, expressed confidence in sustaining the company’s growth momentum into FY2024 and emphasized its commitment to transforming the travel experience through technology and hospitality.

Srinivas Seshadri, Head – Investments at Mirabilis Investment Trust, commended IntrCity’s vision and its data-driven, scalable, and asset-light business model, positioning the company for long-term growth.

In 2024, IntrCity formed partnerships with over 30 bus operators, covering more than 650 Tier 2/Tier 3 routes from its 6 hubs across India. The company’s technology and adaptability to Indian conditions have propelled its SmartBuses to become the top bus brand in the country, serving more than 15 million users per month through its RailYatri platform.
