In a concerted effort to prioritize road safety and promote responsible riding, Zypp Electric, India’s foremost tech-enabled EV-as-a-service platform, inaugurated a comprehensive ‘Road Safety Week Campaign’ in Gurugram on February 2, 2024. Collaborating with the Gurugram Traffic Police and RSO Gurugram, the initiative aims to engage and educate delivery partners through various activities, including helmet distribution, public awareness drives, educational workshops, and offering no-cost insurance coverage for all participants.

Central to the campaign is a workshop event hosted at the Zypp Electric Hub in Sector 69, Gurugram. The agenda features a range of activities tailored to engage and inform participants, culminating in an opening ceremony addressed by Tushar Mehta, Co-Founder and COO of Zypp Electric. The ceremony includes a keynote session by ACP, Traffic Gurugram, workshops on road safety guidelines and awareness, and a live interactive road awareness drive with the public.

A notable component of the Road Safety Campaign is the Zypp Suraksha program, an innovative insurance offering providing no-cost coverage to all riders, with benefits extending up to INR 5 lakh. This initiative underscores the company’s dedication to rider welfare by offering accidental cover.
