(Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands), has unveiled its highly anticipated 1.5-tonne electric Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) at the prestigious Bharat Mobility Global Expo. This launch marks a significant milestone in the company’s mission to transform the commercial vehicle landscape with sustainable transportation solutions.
The newly introduced electric LCVs are crafted to meet the evolving demands of the modern logistics and transportation industry, emphasizing environmental consciousness, exceptional performance, reduced operational costs, and a lower environmental footprint. At the expo, EKA Mobility also showcased its advanced 9-meter electric bus, the EKA 9 Staff Bus, entirely designed and manufactured in India.
Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder & Chairman of EKA Mobility, expressed confidence in the capabilities of the electric LCVs, highlighting their potential to set new standards for sustainability and performance in commercial transportation globally. EKA’s electric LCVs offer versatility across various applications, including last-mile delivery, e-commerce logistics, and temperature-sensitive shipments. The vehicles boast a 300-volt electrical system architecture, delivering the industry’s highest peak power of 60kW and best-in-class vehicle performance. Furthermore, EKA Mobility offers customization options to suit customer requirements, ranging from aluminium container bodies to insulated box container bodies.
A standout feature of EKA Mobility is its emphasis on indigenous software development, enabling greater customization, optimization, security, and reliability. The proprietary software powers the vehicles and facilitates seamless connectivity, offering users advanced features and a futuristic driving experience.
EKA Mobility’s strategic partnerships and investments, including collaborations with Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
