Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Xero EV has teamed up with battery-swapping technology provider VoltUp to enhance last-mile delivery solutions.

Xero EV aims to deploy 15,000 electric two-wheelers for last-mile delivery within the next two years. Through this strategic partnership, Xero EV’s electric scooters will utilize VoltUp’s battery-swapping facilities in 12 cities.

The collaboration is expected to revolutionize last-mile delivery in these cities, initially benefiting the Mink electric scooter and later extending to other Xero electric two-wheelers.

Xero EV claims that users under this partnership will be able to swap their electric vehicle battery packs in under a minute, offering a more efficient solution for last-mile delivery partners.

Bharat Pritmani, co-founder of Xero EV, highlighted that the collaboration exceeds the demands of last-mile delivery partners, integrating Xero’s energy-efficient products with VoltUp’s swappable battery network.

Ritesh Singh, Head of Business & Strategy at VoltUp, emphasized the partnership’s role in minimizing costs for riders and unlocking new possibilities in the electric vehicle landscape.
