Ather Energy launched the Ather 450X Gen 3 in India. Ex-showroom New Delhi, the price of the 2022 Ather 450X is Rs 1.39 lakh. The new Ather 450X costs just Rs 1,000 less than the predecessor due to state subsidies and FAME II incentives. The new Ather 450X in Bengaluru will cost Rs 1.55 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 2022 Ather 450X has a new riding range and other features. Although the scooter’s appearance is unchanged, it now has larger rear-view mirrors. You can still get it in white, space grey, or mint green colours. Ather Energy has upgraded the powertrain for the 450X, and it now has a larger battery.
The new electric scooter features a 3.7kWh lithium battery pack instead of the 2.9kWh unit found in the older model. In ideal conditions, the claimed range has increased from 106 km to 146 km per recharge. The TrueRange of the Ather 450X electric scooter has increased by 20 km, and it now offers 105km per charge.
Other updates to this electric scooter include a better UI on the touchscreen instrument cluster at 7.0 inches and new tubeless tyres MRF at 12 inches – 90/90-12 front and 100/80-12 back. Ather also offers a variety of accessories for the 450X, including a new footstep, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and many other new features. Ather has now expanded its retail presence to 36 cities, with 41 retail shops. The company plans to open 150 experience centres across 100 cities by 2023.
