Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric CEO announced that the next S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters purchase window will open this weekend which is May 21st 2022. Ola didn’t say how long the window would remain open.
The CEO also added that prospective buyers who booked an electric scooter earlier will be able to access the product early.
Bhavish Aggarwal in March said that prices would rise for the next order window. The S1 and S1 Pro will be priced at Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 each. As of now, the Ola S1 electric scooter and the S1 Pro are priced at Rs 85.099 and Rs 1.10 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Ola S1 has a 2.98 kWh battery which is non-removable, while the S1 Pro has a 3.97kWh unit. According to the company, they have a range of riding distances of 121 km and 181 kilometers after a full charge.
They come with a portable charger for the home that can fully charge the electric scooters in approximately 4.4 hours to 6.30 hours, respectively. The Ola S1 Pro and Ola S1 have a top speed of 90 and 115 kmph.
