Kia India has teased the All-New Sorento, its first hybrid SUV for the Indian market, marking the upcoming launch of the company’s global flagship premium SUV in the country.
The launch forms part of Kia India’s strategy to strengthen its premium SUV portfolio by introducing globally successful models equipped with advanced technology, premium features, and hybrid powertrain options.
First introduced globally in 2002, the Sorento has sold more than 4.8 million units across 132 countries over four generations. The model ranked among Kia’s three best-selling vehicles worldwide in 2024 and 2025 and has received multiple international safety and quality recognitions, including the IIHS Top Safety Pick+, a 5-Star NHTSA safety rating, and Car and Driver’s Editors’ Choice award.
The teaser showcases the SUV’s upright stance, bold proportions, and distinctive lighting design. Visible styling elements include a pronounced shoulder line, a wide body stance, and a two-tier lighting signature featuring an illuminated light bar across the front and a secondary lighting cluster integrated into the bumper.
Kia said the All-New Sorento has been engineered with the company’s latest technologies and innovations and is expected to set a new benchmark in India’s premium SUV segment by combining modern design, intelligent features, and versatility.
Ahead of the official launch, Kia India has opened pre-bookings for the All-New Sorento through its dealerships and the company’s official website.
The automaker said additional details, including specifications, pricing, and launch timeline, will be announced in the coming weeks as it prepares to introduce the premium hybrid SUV to Indian customers.
