Vietnam-based electric mobility platform Green SM has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its all-electric ride-hailing services in New Delhi, marking the company’s fifth international market and its first expansion beyond Southeast Asia.

The launch represents a significant step in Green SM’s global growth strategy, positioning India as a key market in its efforts to expand sustainable urban mobility solutions. Following the launch, the company has commenced commercial operations in the national capital, offering commuters an all-electric fleet under its “Ride 5 Star” service model.

The official launch event was executed by experiential marketing and event management company NeoNiche Integrated Solutions, which was responsible for the end-to-end planning, production and on-ground execution of the event. According to the company, the launch was designed to introduce Green SM’s brand identity and reinforce its long-term commitment to India’s rapidly growing electric mobility ecosystem.

Green SM, which was founded in Vietnam, aims to provide environmentally friendly, high-quality urban transportation while supporting the transition toward cleaner mobility solutions. The company stated that its India entry forms part of its broader international expansion strategy.

Shortly after its debut, Green SM’s mobile application climbed to the top position in the Travel category on India’s App Store, reflecting strong early consumer interest in the company’s electric ride-hailing services.

The launch also strengthens NeoNiche’s long-standing association with VIN Group, the Vietnamese conglomerate that operates Green SM. The agency has previously managed launch events and brand activations in India for other VIN Group businesses, including VinFast’s VF6 and VF7 electric vehicles and V-GREEN, the group’s green energy venture.

Prateek N. Kumar, Founder and CEO of NeoNiche Integrated Solutions, said the Green SM launch reflects the continued trust placed in the company by VIN Group across multiple brands. He added that NeoNiche focuses on building long-term partnerships that extend beyond event execution to support clients’ business growth.

The Green SM India launch was led by Nikkhil R. Sharma, Director of NeoNiche’s North Team, who oversaw the project from planning through execution. Sharma said the successful launch was the result of strong collaboration and highlighted the team’s efforts in delivering Green SM’s market entry into India.

Green SM said it plans to establish a long-term presence in India by expanding access to sustainable, electric ride-hailing services and contributing to the country’s transition toward cleaner urban transportation.
