Audi has unveiled the fifth-generation A6 allroad, introducing a more rugged design, advanced electrified powertrains, and enhanced off-road capabilities as the premium wagon enters a new era.
For the first time in its history, the A6 allroad will be offered as a plug-in hybrid, marking a significant step in Audi’s electrification strategy. The new A6 allroad e-hybrid combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor to deliver a total output of 367 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, enabling up to 95 kilometers of all-electric driving range under the WLTP standard.
Audi is also offering a 3.0-liter V6 TDI diesel equipped with MHEV plus technology, featuring electric assistance and regenerative braking to improve performance and efficiency.
The redesigned A6 allroad adopts a wider body—11 centimeters broader than the A6 Avant—giving it a more commanding presence. Standard adaptive air suspension, quattro all-wheel drive, and optional all-wheel steering enhance handling across both highways and challenging terrain.
Ground clearance has been increased by 34 millimeters compared with the A6 Avant, while dedicated “offroad” and “offroad+” driving modes allow the vehicle to tackle gravel, snow, and rough surfaces with greater confidence.
Inside, the premium cabin emphasizes digitalization and comfort. Drivers benefit from Audi’s panoramic MMI display, featuring an 11.9-inch digital cockpit and a 14.5-inch touchscreen, while an optional passenger display adds further functionality. Advanced features include ChatGPT-integrated voice assistance, digital Matrix LED headlights, and customizable OLED rear lights.
The A6 allroad also offers practical versatility with up to 1,497 liters of cargo capacity, roof-mounted storage options, and towing capabilities of up to 2,500 kilograms.
Audi says the new model is designed for customers seeking a vehicle capable of combining everyday comfort with adventure-ready performance. Orders for the A6 allroad open on June 18, 2026, with deliveries beginning this fall. Pricing starts at €77,250 for the V6 diesel version and €80,250 for the plug-in hybrid model.
With electrification, advanced technology, and all-terrain capability at its core, the new A6 allroad reinforces Audi’s position in the premium crossover and wagon segment.
