JSW MG Motor India has announced that its e-Hub by MG application has become India’s largest unified EV charging platform, now listing more than 22,500 charging points across the country.
The company said the app has crossed 150,000 downloads and currently integrates 40 major charge point operators (CPOs), including Jio-bp, Tata Power, Adani, Shell, Zeon, Charge Zone, and BPCL. The platform is designed to offer EV users a single interface for locating, booking, and paying for charging services.
As part of the latest update, MG has introduced several new features aimed at improving convenience and trip planning for electric vehicle owners. These include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, charger reviews and ratings, a smart trip planner, and information on nearby amenities around charging stations.
Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW MG Motor India, said the growing adoption of the e-Hub platform among both MG and non-MG EV owners reflects the increasing demand for seamless charging solutions in India’s expanding electric mobility ecosystem.
He noted that the platform helps users plan long-distance travel more effectively while offering easier access to charging infrastructure through a unified network of operators. According to the company, the initiative is intended to make EV ownership more convenient and accessible as India transitions toward connected and sustainable transportation.
Since its launch, the e-Hub by MG app has facilitated more than 1.5 GWh of energy dispensing and supported over 670,000 environmentally friendly trips. The platform has also enabled users to plan more than 300 million green kilometres, highlighting its growing role in India’s EV infrastructure landscape.
The development comes as automakers and energy companies continue investing heavily in charging infrastructure to support the rapid rise of electric vehicles in the country. Unified charging platforms are increasingly becoming essential for reducing range anxiety and simplifying the EV ownership experience.
JSW MG Motor India said the e-Hub ecosystem aligns with its broader focus on connected, autonomous, shared, and electric (CASE) mobility technologies, while strengthening India’s evolving EV infrastructure network.
