The company secured the fifth position during the period, moving ahead of Ola Electric, which recorded 2,607 registrations and a 4.5% market share.

GEML’s September registrations increased 66% from 1,597 units in August, compared with a 33% growth in the broader E2W market, which recorded 57,505 registrations during the comparable period. The company’s market share also increased by 0.9 percentage points from 3.7% in August to 4.6%.

The latest performance follows a strong first quarter of FY2026-27, when GEML reported 101% year-on-year growth in E2W volumes and achieved a 5.6% market share in June 2026.

GEML has also been focusing on improving operating efficiency and reducing cash burn as it works toward strengthening the underlying economics of its electric mobility business.

The company’s electric two-wheeler portfolio includes the Nexus EX+, Magnus Neo, Reo Vyb and Magnus GMax. GEML is also expanding its retail and financing network while continuing investments in technology and customer experience.
