Suzuki Motor Corporation has officially launched the all-new Suzuki Fronx in Pakistan, marking another step in the company’s global expansion strategy for the popular compact SUV.

The vehicle was unveiled and sales began on May 6 through Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited, Suzuki’s local subsidiary in Pakistan. Production of the Fronx for the Pakistani market will take place at Pak Suzuki’s manufacturing plant in Karachi.

Designed as a coupe-style compact SUV, the Fronx combines sporty styling, spacious interiors, and enhanced driving performance aimed at family and urban driving needs. The model has already gained international traction and is currently sold in more than 70 countries and regions, including India, Japan, Africa, and parts of Central and South America.

Pakistan now becomes the third manufacturing base for the Fronx after India and Indonesia, highlighting Suzuki’s growing confidence in the Pakistani automotive market and its local production capabilities.

The Pakistani version of the Fronx features generous rear-seat legroom, a quieter cabin, and advanced driving technology. Notably, it is the first locally produced Pak Suzuki vehicle to include a mild hybrid system, aimed at improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions.

The SUV will be available with two engine options — the K15B gasoline engine and the K15C mild hybrid powertrain — both paired with multiple transmission choices, including manual and automatic variants.

Pak Suzuki has been manufacturing vehicles in Pakistan since 1982 and remains one of the country’s leading automotive companies. According to the company, it recorded domestic sales of 88,445 units in fiscal year 2025, securing a 40% market share.

Suzuki stated that it will continue focusing on affordable and reliable mobility solutions while strengthening its role as an “infrastructure company closely connected with people’s lives.”

The launch of the Fronx is expected to strengthen Suzuki’s position in Pakistan’s growing compact SUV segment while supporting local manufacturing and employment in the country’s automotive industry.
