Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. reported robust growth in February 2026, with total domestic and international sales rising 35 percent year-on-year to 63,331 units, compared with 46,811 units in February 2025.
Strong Domestic Momentum
Passenger vehicle (PV) domestic sales stood at 62,329 units in February 2026, marking a 34 percent increase over 46,435 units sold in the same month last year. The strong domestic performance was the primary driver of the company’s overall growth during the month.
International Business Sees Sharp Rise
International business (IB) sales recorded a significant jump of 167 percent year-on-year, reaching 1,002 units compared with 376 units in February 2025. The sharp rise highlights improving traction in overseas markets.
EV Segment Continues Rapid Expansion
Electric vehicle (EV) sales, including both domestic and international markets, rose 57 percent year-on-year to 8,385 units, up from 5,343 units in February 2025. The EV figures include sales from Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.
The continued growth in electric mobility underscores Tata Motors’ strengthening position in India’s EV market, as demand for sustainable and technology-driven vehicles accelerates.
Overall Performance
With total PV sales of 63,331 units in February 2026, the company delivered one of its strongest monthly performances in recent years. The combination of solid domestic demand, expanding international presence and sustained EV momentum contributed to the double-digit growth.
The February results reinforce Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles’ growth trajectory as it continues to expand its portfolio across internal combustion engine and electric vehicle segments.
