Representing the most significant update to the model since its fifth-generation debut three years ago, the 2026 Sportage combines cutting-edge technology, safety, and bold design with expanded trim options to meet a diverse range of Canadian driving needs.
Manufactured in South Korea, the new Sportage lineup includes three distinct powertrain variants—ICE, HEV, and PHEV—underscoring Kia’s commitment to offering eco-conscious mobility without compromising on performance or convenience.

The HEV variant will be offered in EX, the newly introduced EX Premium, and SX trims, while the PHEV line will include the all-new EX, EX Premium, and SX. The HEV models are expected to arrive in Canadian dealerships by June 2025, with PHEV models landing in Q3 2025.
