Nupur Recyclers Limited (NRL), a prominent name in the recycling and processing of non-ferrous metal scraps, has unveiled plans for a significant expansion into processing a broader range of metal scraps and entering the lithium-ion battery recycling market. This move aligns with the growing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly industrial practices, marking a strategic shift in the company’s operations to meet the evolving needs of both the market and environmental concerns.

As part of its expansion, NRL plans to build a cutting-edge plant by 2027 dedicated to the processing of various metal scraps, as well as the recycling of lithium-ion batteries. The new facility will enhance NRL’s production capacity, with the company projecting a substantial increase in revenue from its expanded operations. The shift towards metal scrap recycling, with a particular focus on lithium-ion battery scrap, positions NRL to cater to the rising demand from the electric vehicle (EV) industry.

Our investment in the processing of metal scraps and lithium-ion battery recycling demonstrates our commitment to providing eco-friendly solutions and adapting to the industry’s evolving landscape.”
