Leapmotor International, a joint venture with a 51/49 split between Stellantis and Leapmotor, has dispatched its first batch of Leapmotor electric vehicles—C10 SUVs and T03 cars—from Shanghai, China, to European ports this month.
Equipped with cutting-edge EV technology, the C10 and T03 vehicles offer exceptional performance, efficiency, and range. Leapmotor ranks as the fourth-largest Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) startup by sales as of June 2024. Utilizing Stellantis’ distribution channels, Leapmotor International plans to increase the number of sales points for Leapmotor vehicles in Europe from 200 at the end of 2024 to 500 by 2026, ensuring a high level of service for customers.
As the C10 and T03 vehicles make their way to Europe, Stellantis and Leapmotor remain dedicated to advancing innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry. This shipment marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration aimed at transforming the landscape of electric mobility in Europe and beyond, with plans to introduce at least one new model each year for the next three years.
