The Alliance for Automotive Innovation has appointed Steve Sisneros as Chief External Affairs Officer, overseeing external and research activities. Sisneros brings extensive experience from roles at the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, where he led various initiatives in energy policy and campaign strategy.
John Bozzella, president and CEO of Alliance for Automotive Innovation, commented, “Steve’s a top campaign and digital mobilization strategist and a great addition to our team. Using digital tools and data-driven research, he’ll lead our work to educate policymakers and the public about the auto industry’s contribution to U.S. economic and national security – and the policies necessary for the electric transformation.”
Sisneros added, “This is an incredible chapter in automotive history. I’m excited to join this team and bring my advocacy experience in campaigns and government to tell the auto industry’s story in innovative ways and support the work of the association’s members in all corners of the country.”
