Blue Energy Motors, Tejas Cargo, and Dalmia Cement Deploy Electric Heavy-Duty Truck for Freight Operations in Rajgangpur

Dalmia Cement, logistics service provider Tejas Cargo India Limited, and green truck manufacturer Blue Energy Motors have partnered to deploy an electric heavy-duty truck for cement transportation operations in Rajgangpur, Odisha.

Operated by Tejas Cargo India Limited, the zero-emission electric truck will fulfill Dalmia Cement’s regional freight and supply chain requirements. The initiative highlights the core manufacturing and logistics sectors’ accelerating effort to decarbonize road freight and address Scope 3 transportation emissions through cleaner mobility solutions.

The deployment reflects a broader commercial rollout of heavy-duty electric trucks in India, demonstrating the technology’s operational readiness for demanding industrial applications such as cement logistics and infrastructure development.

Blue Energy Motors currently operates a commercial fleet of over 1,400 LNG and electric heavy-duty green trucks across major Indian freight corridors. According to company figures, its vehicles have logged over 122 million kilometers, preventing more than 33,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
