EV fleet and fulfilment infrastructure company TOCAL has secured investment commitments of Rs 9 crore to accelerate the expansion of its electric mobility and logistics platform across India.

The funding round was announced following the company’s appearance on Startup Singam, the startup reality show airing on Star Vijay and streaming on JioHotstar. The investment is led by XB Group, the parent company of K-Indev Logistics, which committed Rs 8.5 crore. The round also includes participation from Navyug Global Ventures, a family office, and high-net-worth investor Nivetha Muralidharan.

As part of the investment, TOCAL and K-Indev Logistics have entered into a strategic collaboration to develop an integrated logistics platform combining EV-powered last-mile delivery, fulfilment infrastructure, and nationwide logistics services.

Founded by Dhairyasheel Deshmukh, TOCAL currently operates in Bengaluru, providing technology-enabled electric vehicle fleet operations and last-mile delivery services for e-commerce, quick commerce, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands.

The company said the investment will be used to expand operations beyond Bengaluru into major metropolitan cities, establish strategically located fulfilment centres, scale its electric vehicle fleet, enhance fleet, warehouse and order management technologies, and strengthen enterprise sales and strategic partnerships.

Commenting on the funding, Dhairyasheel Deshmukh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TOCAL, said the investment would support the development of technology-driven logistics infrastructure that combines strategically located micro-warehouses with an EV-powered delivery network to improve fulfilment efficiency and sustainability for businesses.

Under the partnership, K-Indev Logistics will contribute its expertise in nationwide logistics operations, micro-warehousing, and enterprise customer relationships, while TOCAL will provide its electric vehicle fleet, hyperlocal delivery capabilities, driver network, and proprietary logistics technology.

Over the next four to five years, TOCAL plans to expand its operations to more than 15 cities, deploy over 20,000 electric vehicles, establish 75 fulfilment centres, and serve more than 1,000 brands as it scales its integrated logistics platform across India.
