In an impressive display of growth, Audi India has reported retailing 5,530 units in the first nine months of this year, marking an impressive 88% increase in sales. This robust performance can be attributed to a successful lineup of vehicles, including the new Audi Q8 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi Q3, and Audi Q3 Sportback, as well as sustained demand for popular models such as the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q5, and the top-tier Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi A8 L, Audi S5 Sportback, Audi RS5 Sportback, Audi RS Q8, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT.
The SUV range, in particular, has witnessed remarkable growth, surging by an impressive 187%. Additionally, the Performance and Lifestyle cars, including the e-tron range, have also experienced substantial growth, with a 42% increase during the same period.

Dhillon also emphasized Audi’s commitment to electrification, stating, “With our recent launches, Audi Q8 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron (offered with an impressive 114 kWh battery which is industry best), we now have the widest EV portfolio in the segment. We are confident of good demand during the festive season for our electric range which also includes India’s first EV supercars – Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT.”
Furthermore, Audi India’s pre-owned car business, Audi Approved: plus, saw substantial growth of 63% from January to September 2023. The company is expanding its pre-owned car business across India, with plans to have 27 pre-owned car facilities by the end of 2023.
In line with their commitment to electrification, Audi India recently introduced an industry-first initiative for EV owners called ‘Charge my Audi’ on the ‘myAudiConnect’ app. This innovative solution provides Audi e-tron customers access to multiple electric vehicle charging partners through a single app, offering convenience and accessibility to over 1000 charge points, with more expected to be added in the coming months.
