PURE EV Launches Its Electric Motorcycle ‘ecoDryft’ In India

PURE EV, an Indian manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, launched its new motorcycle in India. The PURE EV ecoDryft will retail at Rs 99,999 ex-showroom Delhi and includes state subsidy. The electric motorcycle claims to have a range of 135km per charge. The motorcycle is available for test rides.

The 3.0 kWh lithium-ion battery pack in the new PURE EV ecoDryft is AIS 156 certified. The electric motorcycle is powered by an electric motor of 3 kW and can reach speeds of 75 km/h.

The ecoDryft is a basic commuter bike that has an angular headlamp and five-spoke alloy wheels. It also features a single-piece seat. The electric motorcycle will come in four color options. These are Black, Grey, Red, and Blue, respectively.

Rohit Vadera is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive officer of PURE EV. He said that “Over the past two months, we have deployed demo vehicles in our 100+ dealers PAN India for a test drive and received a tremendous response from consumers. Now is the time to book ecoDryft at all our dealerships. The first batch of vehicles will be delivered to customers in the first week of March.
