KDMC has given the mandate to Causis E-Mobility, part of the CAUSIS Group Ltd., London and a net zero emission mass transit company. EuraBus, an electric bus based in Berlin, will be operating in the Kalyan Dombivli and surrounding regions. CAUSIS E-Mobility received a Letter of Award to procure and maintain, per km, 107 fully-built 9 Mtr, midi-electric AC/Non-AC buses including drivers on a Wet Lease Model Basis for 12 years.
EuraBus is a 9-meter bus that KDMC offers. It has the lowest lifecycle costs of all the buses. The unique advantages of the ecosystem are due to its lightweight, modular European design and low maintenance and servicing costs. A powerful battery eliminates the need to have a complicated charging infrastructure. Night-time charging is possible thanks to favorable electricity tariffs.
