Bounce Infinity, a trailblazer in India’s electric scooter market, has introduced electric scooters featuring innovative portable liquid-cooled battery technology developed in collaboration with Clean Electric. These scooters are now available nationwide with ex-showroom prices starting from INR 99,210, offering extended range, rapid charging capabilities, and enhanced battery lifespan.

Integrated into the Bounce Infinity E1 model, this cutting-edge battery technology enables a real-world range of over 100 km, addressing the growing demand for extended-range electric vehicles. Moreover, the system supports fast charging, allowing for an 80% charge in just 45-50 minutes, eliminating the need for specific fixed charging points. Bounce becomes the pioneer in launching an electric two-wheeler with a liquid-cooled portable battery that enables fast charging using a portable charger.

The upgraded liquid-cooled battery provides a substantial boost in energy capacity, now totalling 2.5 kWh, resulting in a real-world range of 112-120 km on a single charge. This represents a notable improvement compared to the previous battery, which had a capacity of 1.9 kWh and offered a range of 85 km. Despite the advanced technology, the batteries maintain a competitive weight of approximately 14.5 kilograms, ensuring longer rides without frequent charging. This technology addresses the crucial need for more efficient thermal management in EVs, enhancing safety by preventing overheating and hot spots inside the battery.

Unlike air-cooled batteries, which rely on ambient air for cooling, liquid-cooled batteries utilize a fire-retardant liquid to absorb heat from the battery and transfer it to external metal components, rapidly cooling down through exposure to ambient air. This efficient heat management system significantly reduces the risk of overheating, a common issue in high-performance electric vehicles, while facilitating fast charging and enhancing safety.
