Oben Electric has commenced customer deliveries of its newly launched Rorr Evo electric motorcycle after receiving more than 25,000 bookings within 15 days of its launch in May 2026, the company announced.
The first batch of customers received their motorcycles at a delivery event in Bengaluru, with deliveries set to expand across the company’s network of more than 150 showrooms nationwide in the coming weeks.
According to Oben Electric, the Rorr Evo’s booking milestone represents one of the fastest demand accumulations in India’s electric motorcycle segment. To support deliveries, the company said it has scaled production at its Bengaluru manufacturing facility, which has an annual production capacity of 100,000 electric motorcycles.
The company operates a vertically integrated manufacturing ecosystem and has established a retail and after-sales network comprising over 150 showrooms and dedicated Oben Care service centres across more than 90 cities in 18 states.
Commenting on the milestone, Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric, said the commencement of deliveries marks the transition from strong customer demand to vehicles reaching customers, reflecting the company’s focus on building customer trust and accelerating electric motorcycle adoption in India.
Priced at Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom), the Rorr Evo is powered by Oben Electric’s proprietary 9 kW electric motor and a 3.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. The motorcycle offers a claimed riding range of 180 km, a top speed of 110 km/h, and accelerates from 0-40 km/h in three seconds. It also supports fast charging from 0% to 80% in 90 minutes and comes with an eight-year battery warranty.
The motorcycle features SmartIQ, the company’s AI-powered ride optimisation technology, which it claims can improve riding range by up to 15%. Other features include a 5-inch TFT display, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, and emergency SOS through the company’s ARGUS connected vehicle platform.
Oben Electric said all critical electric vehicle components, including the battery, motor, vehicle control unit (VCU), charger, and software, are designed, developed, and manufactured in-house, enabling greater control over technology development, product quality, and supply chains.
Founded in 2020, Oben Electric manufactures performance electric motorcycles at its 3.5-acre facility in Bengaluru and holds more than 25 patents covering its proprietary EV technologies. The company said it continues to expand its nationwide manufacturing, retail, and service capabilities to support growing demand for electric motorcycles in India.
