In a significant boost to India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, Bolt.Earth and ChargeZone have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing EV charging accessibility and interoperability across the country.
The collaboration will enable EV users to locate, access, and pay for charging services across both networks through a single app, simplifying the charging experience and reducing dependence on multiple platforms.
Together, the two companies now offer access to more than 1,500 fast-charging locations for four-wheelers across India, providing drivers with greater convenience and a wider charging footprint. The integration is expected to ease range anxiety and support the growing adoption of electric mobility nationwide.
ChargeZone, one of India’s largest public fast-charging networks, has established a strong presence across highways, intercity routes, and urban fleet hubs, enabling reliable charging for both long-distance and city travel.
“India’s EV transition is happening across every mobility segment simultaneously,” said Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of ChargeZone. He noted that interoperability is essential for scaling EV infrastructure nationally and that the partnership will bring fast-charging services within easier reach of EV users.
The alliance also addresses key pain points for EV owners by offering integrated payments, real-time charger availability updates, and access to a broader charging network through a unified interface.
Bolt.Earth, India’s leading peer-to-peer EV charging platform, currently operates in over 2,000 cities with more than 100,000 chargers deployed nationwide. The company supports two-, three-, and four-wheelers through both standard and fast-charging options.
“Interoperability is the future of EV charging in India,” said Jyotiranjan Harichandan, Founder of Bolt.Earth. He added that integrating Bolt.Earth’s universal charging network with ChargeZone’s robust infrastructure will enhance accessibility, convenience, and reliability for EV users.
As India accelerates its transition toward cleaner mobility, industry collaborations such as this are expected to play a crucial role in strengthening charging infrastructure and improving the overall EV ownership experience.
The partnership marks another step toward building a connected and user-friendly EV ecosystem, bringing the vision of seamless electric mobility closer to reality for consumers across the country.
